Project Description:

This project involved the comprehensive replacement and upgrade of the building's mechanical systems. The scope included installing new boilers, pumps, piping, filters, separators, neutralization tanks, unit heaters, and rehabilitating the air handling unit. A new Building Automation System was supplied, installed, and commissioned, integrated with upgraded thermostats and the fire alarm system. Additionally, significant upgrades to the electrical infrastructure were completed to support the new equipment.

Due to the winter timeline, a temporary glycol heating unit was engineered and commissioned to maintain heating throughout the construction period, adding complexity and requiring detailed planning. The project was successfully completed within the schedule, enhancing the building's functionality and energy efficiency.
