Project Description:

This project involved the supply and installation of a 25,000L Jet A fuel tank at the existing heliport in Jasper National Park to support emergency services and Parks Canada operations. SVEMY Construction carried out extensive civil work under strict environmental regulations, including the installation of a hydrocarbon liner, construction of a reinforced concrete footing, and integration of underground utilities and electrical infrastructure. The final phase included the commissioning of the fuel tank, ensuring it met all safety and regulatory requirements. Despite the challenges of working in a sensitive national park setting, the project was completed successfully, enhancing emergency response capabilities in the region.
