Project Description:

This project involved the supply and installation of a new privy at Simpson Trailhead along Highway 93S in Kootenay National Park, enhancing visitor facilities in this remote location. SVEMY Construction executed all necessary civil work, including site preparation and grading, followed by the delivery and placement of a precast privy structure designed for durability and ease of maintenance. The project also required compliance with strict environmental and regulatory testing procedures to ensure the facility met Parks Canada’s standards. Despite the challenges of working in a remote, high-traffic area, the installation was completed efficiently, improving public amenities while preserving the surrounding natural environment.
