Project Description:

This project involved extensive civil work upgrades at the newly developed Whistler Campground in Jasper National Park, improving accessibility, waste management, and wayfinding systems. Working within a tight timeline, SVEMY Construction excavated and built 30 concrete pads for waste and recycling bins, supplied and installed the bins, and carried out asphalt work to enhance road surfaces. The project also included the installation of 300 wayfinding posts and signage for both vehicle and pedestrian navigation, along with the construction of new gravel sidewalks, trails, and boardwalks to improve connectivity throughout the campground. Additionally, new gravel roads were installed to enhance access and circulation within the site. These comprehensive upgrades significantly improved the functionality and visitor experience at one of Jasper’s most popular campgrounds.
