This project involved the complete reconstruction of the existing bridge over Pine Creek for Foothills County, adhering to Alberta Transportation specifications. The scope of work included the full demolition of the old bridge and the construction of a new structure featuring H-piles, abutment caps, backwalls, and precast prestressed concrete girders. Road widening activities were carried out to improve traffic flow, while new guardrails, bridge rails, and asphalt approach slabs were installed to enhance safety. Environmental management was a critical component, with turbidity monitoring and a water bypass system implemented to protect the active creek during construction. The project was completed on schedule, meeting the highest standards of quality and earning full satisfaction from both the client and the consultant.
