Project Description:
This project involved the complete demolition of two residential houses previously used as staff accommodations for Parks Canada in Field, BC. SVEMY Construction managed the safe removal of hazardous materials, followed by the full structural demolition, footing removal, and site remediation. The final phase included site grading and landscaping to restore the area to a natural state in compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements. Despite the challenges of working in a national park setting, the project was completed efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding area while meeting Parks Canada’s sustainability and land-use objectives.
