Project Description:

This project involved the replacement of the main cable at the Berland River hydrometric monitoring station (Station 07AC007) near its mouth. SVEMY Construction managed the full scope of work, including mobilization and demobilization, removal and disposal of the old main cable, installation of a new cable, and the replacement of the right bank main cable sheave.

Additional work included excavating the left bank anchor base to determine depth, creating drainage holes in all tower platform legs, and regrading soil around footings to improve stability. The site was restored to pre-construction conditions upon completion. Due to the remote location and challenging environmental conditions, the project required meticulous planning and adherence to strict environmental and safety standards. The successful execution of this work ensured the continued functionality of the hydrometric monitoring station for ongoing water resource management.
