Project Description:

This project involved the extensive restoration and replacement of windows and glazing units in a historic multi-storey building at Radium Hot Springs. SVEMY Construction carefully executed the work to preserve the building’s heritage while incorporating modern materials that met historical specifications. The new aluminum-framed windows were designed to replicate the original aesthetics, ensuring compliance with heritage preservation guidelines while enhancing durability and energy efficiency. The project also included comprehensive scaffolding work to facilitate safe access for window installations and detailed heritage masonry restoration, reinforcing and repairing original stonework to maintain the building’s historic character. Through expert craftsmanship and a balance of modern functionality with traditional design, the project successfully revitalized the structure while maintaining its historical integrity.
